I was born into a religious and moral home; grew up going to a religious school, going to church 6-7 days a week; but knew not JESUS CHRIST; having never been born again, "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, I say unto three, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3)

I grew up, served in the military, returned to civilian life, married, became successful.  Yet - - -I was unfulfilled and achieving, believing that the next pinnacle of success, or "good work" would bring me contentment, but - - - it never did.  Then, there was the fear of dying.  AND THEN!!!!!!!!->->->->a business associate presented me the WORD OF GOD 

"- - - ye must be born again." (John 3:7)

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD."  (Romans 3:23)

"There is none righteous, no not one." (Romans 3:10)

"All your righteousness is as filthy rags."  (Isaiah 64:6)

"Not by works of righteousness we have done, but according to HIS (GOD's) mercy, HE (JESUS CHRIST) HAS SAVED US."  (Titus 3:5)

(I knew that in GOD'S sight that I was lost and undone and without hope, BUT THEN CAME THE GOOD NEWS!!!!"

"For GOD so loved the world (your name) that HE gave HIS only begotten some (JESUS CHRIST), that whosoever (your name) believeth in HIM (JESUS CHRIST), should not perish (hell) but have everlasting life."  (John 3:16)

"For whosoever (your name) shall call upon the name of THE LORD shall be saved (heaven)."  (Romans 10:13)

"For by GRACE are ye saved, through faith, and that not for yourself, it is the GIFT OF GOD NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast."  (Ephesians 2:8,9)

"Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls." (Matthew 11:28-30)

GOD (JESUS) was inviting me to come to HIM and I did:  "if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS, and believe in thine heart that GOD HATH RAISED him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  (Romans 10:9,10)

I believed upon JESUS CHRIST 25 years ago and my burdens are lifted; it is well with my soul; I have peace with GOD and the peace of GOD, and heaven is my destination: "These things have I written unto you that believe on the NAME OF THE SON OF GOD; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may beleive on the NAME OF THE SON OF GOD."  (1 John 5:13)

HOW ABOUT YOU?  Are you weary and heavy laden?  Do you want rest for your soul?  How about peace with GOD and the peace of GOD?  Blessed Assurance that in JESUS CHRIST you can have all of this and heaven too.  "Believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST and thou shalt be saved."  (Acts 4:12)

If you are convinced in your heart and mind, and convicted in your conscience that you are lost and need to be saved; then in your words and out of the depths of your soul call out to GOD:  "LORD, I AM A SINNER, I DESERVE THE ETERNAL FIRES OF HELL, BUT OH GOD, I BELIEVE THAT JESUS DIED FOR ME (YOUR NAME), THAT HE AROSE FROM THE DEAD AND I CALL ON HIS NAME RIGHT NOW FOR ETERNAL LIFE; THANK YOU LORD FOR THE NEW BIRTH; I NEED A BIBLE THAT I MAY KNOW YOU BETTER, AMEN."
